This printer has the biggest dimensions and weight among all the participants of our test. Its massive black cabinet will hardly become a good decoration of a work table. It is better to place such a unit on a separate support and as far as possible away from eyes. As if it was cut off from a black granite rock, so association with a coffin is quite obvious. Nonetheless this giant is the only personal laser printer that supports PCL (in the emulation regime, of course). All the other printers have only GDI–drivers. So one will have to tolerate the design, which is not very pleasant for eyes, and “the coffin–like appearance”, if one needs PCL support, and money is not enough for a medium class apparatus. The sheet-by-sheet feeding tray has independent guides, which can be adjusted for a necessary size of a medium. They are tough enough, but they move in wide ranges. The feeding tray is fully hidden in the case and is located in the very bottom.
The cover, which opens easily, on the rear side will allow to pull out a jammed piece of without unscrewing the case. In this very section is situated the oven. However, one cannot do without a screw–driver for taking it out.
